Well aware of both.
I'm not petitioning for it or something, just something I noticed from where I was.
I continue to be concerned about the hits that Purdy is taking. He played a fantastic game, of course.
I also dislike it when music is too loud at events and I can't hear things around me.

I can’t remember any “hits” of note? He got tackled obviously but that happens to running quarterbacks.
Yeah, I'm not saying he took any hard licks in this game, just that he is being tackled quite a bit and that is a risk factor as the season goes along. As you note, he seems to be a "running quarterback" now and not just a quarterback that can occasionally tuck it and run. He's not a super big guy and all it could take is one hit in the wrong place to impact his health. The threat of him running the ball does make the defense adjust, of course, which can open up other opportunities.
And I thought he had no business being in there with a few minutes left in the game and a 20+ point lead.
Gary Patterson wasn’t going to talk about it but acknowledged that senior cornerback Jeff Gladney could be subject to a suspension after a heated scuffle late in TCU’s 49-24 loss at Iowa State on Saturday.
Gladney and Cyclones receiver Joe Scates were jawing back and forth, and it appeared there may have been punches thrown following a first-and-goal play with 5:25 left.
Both were assessed unsportsmanlike conduct penalties, which offset. Gladney headed to the sidelines and didn’t return to game action.
Asked about a possible suspension, Patterson said, “Yeah, but I’m not going to sit here and talk about it so they do.”
The Big 12 could review the play to see if suspensions are warranted.
Earlier in that series, TCU defensive tackle Ross Blacklock drew an unsportsmanlike penalty.
Iowa State had a 42-24 lead at the time, and Patterson wasn’t pleased that two of his veterans seemingly lost their cool late in the game.
“They’re (veterans),” Patterson said. “Basically, we gave up 21 points because of penalties.”
For the game, TCU had nine penalties for 88 yards. Iowa State had five penalties for 35 yards.

They never replayed it on tv, what was it that Blacklock did?
From about 400 rows up in the corner of the SEZ it looked like both threw what could be considered punches to me. And somewhat made contact with the official.
Oh sorry the d tackle I think laid a pretty late hit on purdy on a scramble I think
meh. You can’t just protect him at the expense of the season. Justin Fields got roughed up a lot more than Brock did yesterday and was in the entire game for tOSU.
TCU guy 100% threw a punch. ISU guy might have. Contact with officials was more because the refs were breaking it up IMO.
Just got to it on replay Scates didn’t throw anything other than shoves. TCU player definitely threw a punch. I’d expect Scates to have some internal punishment and TCU player to get some suspension.
The refs looked like hockey refs just letting them go at it. I couldn't believe they didn't get between it to break it up, it looked incredibly lazy on the refs part.
Doubtful as he went back in on the next offensive series
Don't know if it has been said here yet but worth saying again - Our special teams has been below average this year but Rivera has had a couple of solid games and that has made a difference in us managing field position.
Interesting, only thing I don't like about the music is when they play over the crowd doing the Cyclone Power cheer - seems like that happens at least once a game.
I also was really frustrated that Purdy and other 1s, were still in there at the end. Why would they do that. i just don't get it. Soo much risk. I wish the press would question CMC on this.
I get what you're saying but I think there was an aspect of the one unit is finally operating at a good clip and let's reinforce that.
I didn't see Scates throw what I would consider a punch but the other guy did. Scates seemed to be locked up with and the DB let go and swung and Scates went to the ground still holding the DB. My recollection anyway.
