TJ needs to work on building up for the season. We come out guns a blazing and then end up flaming out. We peaked at the home game when we honored the 2000-2001 teams. I really thought at that point this team was close to them. Boy, was I wrong.

Agreed it’s pretty bad - a 3 seed shouldn’t get destroyed in the round of 32. But, here we are. I also appreciate you have many questions, as do I, but they will not be answered.

It’s another season that falls into the ‘what could have been’ bucket.
We got destroyed by WVU, KSU, OSU and BYU during the season. This was a bad match-up for the Cyclones. This team hasn't been elite for a couple months and Mississippi played a great game and Iowa State didn't play well.

If he’s offered a million, he’d be stupid not to take that.
Agreed, and it’s probably at a very high level program. I know Blum said a couple of our players were already getting double the amount of money offers elsewhere. No idea what they are making now but that’s probably putting them close if not over a million value

The first 16 games were one of the most fun times ever as a fan. I'd love to rail on a lot of things right now, and i think it would be justified, but I'm just gonna call it a season and log off for a couple weeks or months. Love you all. This season has been...something. Avoid sports talk radio for the week. Peace out.

This team had every element to be a Final 4 team. Experience and talent throughout the backcourt, did very well in the portal to complement them with a strong frontcourt, a successful core that played together for a few years. I know that they never really got a chance to play together due to lack of health but the chemistry was just off this season. Hard to pinpoint what went wrong but I did not envision the season ending like this even with Gilbert out and Lipsey hobbled, there just wasn't much fight in this dog.
I think this team could beat anyone when plan A was working but plans B on down were iffy at best. All the injuries were a huge deal because guys like Keshon and Milan do things that no one else can really provide and we need them to win games.

I don't want the Presidents back, let someone else pay NIL $ for Jefferson. We were better with BRE and Ward. MUCH better. Let's get back to defense-first guys in the frontcourt, mmkay?

Completely disagree. But we do misuse Jefferson a lot by treating him like a ball handler when he’s not capable of consistently not turning it over.
