Christopherson is going to end up being > Lucca this season. Count on it. Kid looks to be a great basketball player.

Whoaaa... Don't say something you will regret. Saying Christopherson>Lucca at the end of the season, is like saying Beau>Bo at the end of the season....

That will turn political... Might as well go to the cave now with that. You will be banished by some.

I'm not sure about that... Lucca looked quicker and stronger as well (I think he is in better shape and his knee is healthy). Lucca will have a great year, and he and SC will be great at the 2-spot. At least one should be hot every game!

I'm sticking with my bold prediction that Colvin will be our starting PG by the time conference play starts.

Alex Dorr really impressed me. He'll get his things together and really turn some heads. He's all over the court and has great vision and hustle. Chased some long out of bounds balls.

Really? I thought Lucca still looked slow. Don't get me wrong, I love Lucca, the guy is as close to a sure thing on a spot up three as you can get. That being said Christopherson is far more versatile while still being able to shoot the three.

WHooooo!!!

Have I mentioned I love watching the guys play?

It was a great game! The walking taco was huge. I couldn't eat it all and Cyclone Alley had good numbers too. It was a fun night!!

Regarding Lucca/ Christopherson, or anyone else that can shoot the three:

If Brackins/ Dendy/ Hamilton can hold cause matchup problems down low, and our guards can slash - I don't care who it is - we will have success behind the arc.

My 12" tall up-side-down clone cone gave me a massive brain freeze!

the game tracker said attendance was over 12,700. Not bad for an exhibition... during HS Football playoffs... even!

Agreed, Christopherson seems to have more control in the paint, although we'll see how that changes as the Big 12 big uglies roll around.

Lucca
+ Better shooter
+ Better passer

Christopherson
+ Better in the paint
+ More fluid on defense
+ Better ball handler

My main concern is just that we are able to get dribble penetration when we play teams with good ball pressure by the opposing guards. That has been our main achilles heal the past 3 years imo. The rest of the offense running smoothing is all predicated on that.

I would guess closer to 7-8,000

Though "the top of the world" was a bit barren where we were, the good news is that there were new season ticket holders buy us. Usually the rest of our row is empty until people come (for the other team) and by the single tickets.
