The refs were bad but I think we can adjust better to the officials than we did tonight.

It seemed like we were trying to kill the clock for the last 2-3 mins and passed up on some transition plays, Iowa made the stop and then came back with the quick score. We need to take advantage of favorable opportunities, no need to be nice because no one's going to be nice to you in those situations. That and Bubu had a rough time at the stripe near the end of the game

free throws and 100% effort ISU could of hung 100 pts on them

The one thing I dont understand is why White doesn't touch the ball every possession down low or at freethrow line. He's either gonna drive/dunk, get fouled, or draw attention and find an open shooter.

No no no you have it all wrong. We play Iowa but they must come to Ames every year. Or else we refuse to play.

I care because if Iowa didn't suck as much as they do, they probably would have came back to win. (it will happen at least 4 times in Big 12 play if we don't change anything)

Great first half.Embarrassing first 5 minutes of the 2nd half and embarrassing last 5 minutes of the 2nd half. Thrilled they won but that performance left a lot to be desired. A win is a win.

Well said. free throws still need improvement. i just dont get not having a killer instinct in 2nd half. lots of standing around

Good to see Ejim and Scotty score some points again. Overall, it's a W, and an encouraging 1st half. We definitely have a nice high end, and I'll trade that for consistency right now.

Watching us close out a game is like stabbing rusty forks into my eyes and then taking toothpicks, dipped in feces, and jamming those up my nose. Followed by taking butane lighters and burning out my eyeballs only to be followed by somebody cutting my tongue off with a hacksaw...

Painful.

Bubu looked great. Good fill-in for Allen in foul trouble.

I want to see Royce do what he did in the 1st half in the second half. I know Iowa focused on him after the half, but he does open certain things up after touching the ball.

Also, guards can strip him at times... Very frustrating.

Overall, a team victory.

All the fouls really ****ed up the flow of the 2nd half. That and ISU came out flat and never really had to play hard in the 2nd half. Love the 1st half though.

Did anyone else think Scotty looked a big gun shy at shooting 3s tonight? He seemed to turn a lot of good looks down.

Really lazy and careless play in the second half made this game way closer than it should have been. Royce was sleep walking in the second half. Iowa is really, really bad and that is being kind.
