I'm watching the UVA vs. UNC ACC championship game right now. What does a packline defense do when the Offense puts 4, or all 5 guys, around the perimeter? I see in the 2nd half - UNC started spacing it out w/ 4 around the perimeter and it gave UVA a lot of problems, mostly dribble drive. It seems that they are mostly use to denying and relying on help defense, however, if they are spread out, there is no help there.

Thoughts?

Yeah, I think you do need to spread them out, and have someone consistently get to the middle and make the right pass as the defense sags or adjusts.

I think I'm past the point where my brain can process any more game analysis. Just. Want. Game. Start.
