ISU 66-10.

Every time I think ISU has turned a corner/has their mojo going, they get beat, so realistically expecting a loss tonight.

Tech has the look of a team that's much better than their record, and is obviously capable of beating good teams.

We seem to play better on the road........most games of late anyway.
We play well in a packed/loud gym. @KU was obviously packed. @KSU and @OSU weren't packed, but both venues are pretty loud regardless. Especially Ghallager Iba. @OU was the only sucky venue we've won at this year, and we overcame a fairly poor effort to squeak that one out. TTU fans have been showing up a lot more than normal, so I expect us to play a little better than we usually do at their place.

All hail King Solomon.

EDIT: He's now raining down gold/rebounds on the Hilton faithful. All hail.

Good to see that we are still under the radar...at least to ESPN. Plenty of stories on KU, WV, BAY, and OSU and how no one wants to play them in March. Keep the lack or respect going...seniors take charge tonight and put down a gritty Tech team 72-68.

I'm nervous about this game, but if they play the way they've played the last 2 weeks, I think we pull out a victory.

And, I think they recognize the importance of this, and play like it.

ISU by 7. 77-70

On the short turnaround it is really hard to go on the road and win. Saw a stat on that last year for Big 12 teams playing Saturday Monday and the home team wins a vast majority of the time. Not surprising but ISU can definitely pull this off, just have to continue to force turnovers and take advantage of them.

Normally I would agree with this but Tech had a long road trip out to WV and played in a double OT game. I think that evens things out quite a bit.

IMO we are playing with house money tonight. Win and we stole a game on the road and puts us in a really good spot for Saturdays tilt with Baylor. If we lose it really is a no harm no foul game other than probably taking a six seed out of play. These guys have had the road dog mentality this year and i think we pull out a close one. 71-68 Clones.

Hard to win on the road in the big 12 no matter the turnaround, though this team has shown the ability to travel.
I am interested to see how Tech responds to the 2 OT loss vs the physical Prest Virginia. That has got to be the most brutal 2 day turnaround w/ travel for any Big 12 team could have. ISU on the other hand had a rather stress free win at home and were able to limit minutes for the players. I would never predict a win @ Tech as we have seen that place cause the Cyclone teams difficulty in the past. Tonight's game has set up as well as it could to come out victorious.

Must win for TT and not for us. I hope we can match the intensity we should expect to see from a bubble team on their home court.

Except that I have to think our guys want to be ranked.
