Not sure how Prohm could be too happy with his own performance there.

There was a lot that was bad about the game (Morris and Burton not showing , bad bounces, bad officiating) but I think this one is on the coach (and I'm not a hater).

Poor personnel decisions and no adjustments to slow down what was working for TCU.

I never said he was by himself, but if our coach doesn't have the awareness to sit him before he has the chance to go 1-10 on offense while giving up 30 points on defense, it makes him look stupid. It has literally nothing to do with the 4 guard lineup. And I was hoping for more Solomon today. He at least tries.
Burton is a guard in my book that's why I'm saying 5 guard line up.. I'm afraid CSP has put all of his eggs in the burton is a legit scorer basket.

Have to knock the coaching in this one.. With the poor shooting and effort that Burton displayed tonight he should have been riding the pine. Not many big 12 coaches would put up with that effort and still play a guy 30+ mins. (Do you think Bill Self would have left Burton in?? - Absolutely not) Also, why wait until there is 12 mins left in the 2nd half to play Jackson? He is one of our best on ball defenders and he was on fire in the first half (16 pts). Maybe I just saw the game differently from my tv than from the bench?

Out coached and out played

There were times Burton was the only one that could guard their post. Too bad his offense struggled.

We will prob lose most games where the opposing big guy goes off like Brodziansky did tonight. We had no answer.

For those saying pathetic.....I don't think Burton and Monte going 5-24 from the field is equated to effort. Sometimes its not your night. I'm sure Monte would agree with that.

Some of you that think coach doesn't know what he's doing should go watch practice. You can almost any time if you're local. That being said I am amazed by Burton playing so many minutes when he talks about riding the hot hand.

Well, I can agree on that. At least, consistency wise. The four guard lineup originated with Monte, Jackson, Naz, Babb, and Young. That's the four guard lineup people are talking about.

Burton was bad tonight but Morris wasn't very good either. I wonder what his quotes will be between now and Monday

For one of them it is. The other one is Monte Morris.

I think the biggest thing to take away from this game is that we have 3 rotting scholarships that ride our bench every night, and one that is in slow decay. Prohm has too many developmental players on this team and not enough horses. TCU exposed our lack of an inside game, and Prohm needs to answer for why his 3 players 6'8" or taller can't even play a couple meaningful minutes when our team is getting brutalized down low.

What's even more concerning is that unless we find pay dirt in the transfer market, next year is looking even worse post-wise.

Lolz at all the talk earlier on this thread about competing with Kansas for title. We cant even compete with some middle of the road team.

I wont even mention West Virginia and Baylor got key road wins today.

ISU's more of a middle of the road team and has been for several years now...tied for 3rd/4th out of 10 teams with exception to 2nd in 2015 but that team was pretty fortunate vs. their actual talent.

And you sort of did mention that WV and Baylor got road wins today.

Monday will be tough...KU loves this role, and people will melt down if KU wins since that never happens in Hilton like it did in 2014 vs. the Kane/Ejim team that also never lost a game, during the Hoiball era where no bad losses ever happened at Texas Tech or home to Baylor or home to Drake.

I don't see anyone saying it's a bad loss. If they are, they're horribly mistaken. But the performance was pathetic.

This might surprise you, but almost all college basketball teams have bad performances, and are inconsistent game to game.

Again, who in the hell was going to guard the post? Prohm put Young in, but he was awful. Prohm had no choice but to keep Burton in.

Yes, Burton was bad and TCU looked quicker and more athletic. It going to be hard for ISU to win when Fisher outplays Monte. I would expect Monte to bounce back

I don't get the ******** about the 4 guard lineup when there is no one on the bench who is going to make a difference. Young looked very slow in the game tonight.

I do wish Jackson would have played more in the 2nd half after his hot start.
