Clueless coaches? No coach looks good when they have one of the bottom five offensive and defensive lines in power 5 football.

They don't look especially good. But I'm hoping they'll get better.

Our defense was usually average to good under CPR/Wally, it was just that we regularly had the most 3 and outs of any team in the nation. Not surprised we'd step back on D but disappointed we haven't improved on offense because there was nowhere to go but up on the offensive side of the ball.

No, they weren't. Those defenses caved before the offense could take the field regularly. Burnham was just a sentimental drinking buddy favorite for a bunch of people. The defenses were bad all on their own.

The offensive line and the fact that ISU will be lucky to ever get an 'average' quaterback means the offense isn't gonna do much. The o-line is just too young too inexperienced.

Does the team look any better this week? That's partially on coaching.

Doubt we'll agree. Most games our offense would string together 3 consecutive 3 and outs at some point. Our offense was horrible pretty much every year. The D had its moments and a few stud players.

The defenses got worse as Rhoads tenure went on.
