Great team effort on both ends of the court. This team looks really familiar, and they are fun to watch. Players and coaches coming together......nice.

Good D by everyone, but switching Shayok onto Mason changed the game....but I didn't think CSP was a good in-game coach???? ;)
That's a good point about Shayok. I noticed his long arms changing Mason's mind from shooting several times in the 2nd half.

23 a game this year...good to be sure but not the Clark Kent/Superman performance we seem to draw out of Noi

Looking at Brown's stats some of his steals numbers are ridiculous. Zero steals against us but tons of 4+ steals games all over the season.

Brown averages 15 a game this season and scored 23 a game against us. Noi averages 14 a game this season and scores 18 a game against us.

Sorry man, you’re not going to convince me on this one.

Agree
Robinson is the bigger TCU threat, although Noi benefits from that.

Re: Shayok guarding Mason... Maybe I wasn't playing close enough attention, but wasn't Babb on him just as much? In fact, I think Shayok was on him to start, then Mason quickly went 3-3 to start the game, and Prohm switched to Babb.

Opposite - Babb started on him - went 3 for 3, then switched over to a mix of Wigginton and Shayok.

Yeah, I think it was Shayok or LW on him for most of the game, although NWB might have picked him up a few times there in the second half as well. At any rate, whoever played him after the early scoring outburst did a hell of a good job. Mason was a non-factor after the first ten minutes or so. I also kind of wonder if his foot injury started bothering him. He didn't look like he was limping at all but you never know.

Also shouts to all the defenders who corralled Mason after his hot start. After the early barrage he didn't do much the rest of the way.

This game was the perfect of example of good defense making the offense flow, even if it wasn't in transition game. They play 1/2 court so much better when they know they can get some stops.

I don't think Babb played that poorly on him - but Shayok played better. Need to be a touch rougher with him coming around screens... coming off an injury. He made some pretty deep contested threes.

Babb was on him when he was blowing up. Wiggi and then moreso Shayok were the ones that slowed him down.
