Right on.
I’d love to have the “missing four” play at a level even better than last year, but what’s pertinent is our defense is as good as it should be with the athletes and depth that we have.

Let's go with full fledged platoons. Weiler Babb/Lewis/Shayok/Jacobson/Conditt plays 5 minutes, replaced by Wiggy/Haliburton/THT/Young/Lard for 5 minutes. It worked for 2014 Kentucky.

Should be fun to see everyone able to play although I doubt it's smooth sailing the whole time, but basketball games usually aren't.

I was in the camp initially of letting them heal more and coming back for the OSU game but now I'm wishing that they not only get some good time tonight, but that there were a game on the 28th or so.

Also actually wishing the conference opener were a KU or someone so if it's a loss it's still not a bad loss while the team gets acquainted.

Replacing the marginal time played by the back of our bench with Wigginton and Young (who are both starter-quality) immediately makes this team much better.

The rest of this season will have its ups and downs, but it will be fun.

(And not trying to pick on Lewis, Griffin, and Conditt here, but they simply are not yet the level of players that LW and Solo are. They will have their chance next season.)

Can’t wait to see Wigginton and Solo back on the court. I think that means even less minutes for Lard though. I really don’t think he’ll ever play over 15 minutes all year.
