That does seem weird this late in the season. Conversely, if we lose, this one Colorado loss would account for 17% of our losses. Don't worry, we're not losing.
It would be crazy if we played them in KC. I wonder if conference opponents have ever played 4 time sin a season before?

Wondering if Martin Rancik will be at the game tonight. Be pretty cool if they gave him a shout out and let him get some applause.

Wonder what all he's done and been location wise since ISU? Was he among the guys back for the 25 year anniversary?

The Buffs won't be an easy out I don't think. Seems like beating a team 3 times in a season is a hard thing to do. That said, this is in Hilton and they are arguably (unarguably?) the worst team in the conference.

I'll predict a win but no cover, 83-71 good guys

And a lot of 'what has happened to ISU since Maui?' etc type of takes.

To honor their status as the vanguard state for marijuana legalization, I'm guessing we win by 420 points.

I'd be a little weary if this was in boulder

Any idea what they did the hang with Houston and KU over the last couple of weeks?

I haven't watched CU since the Boulder game.
I've watched Colorado quite a few times this year. They've got some good pieces and actually defend pretty well, but their guards can get sloppy with the ball and they haven't had great offensive showings since conference play started. They've only eclipsed 70 points 4 time in conference play. Once against WVU, once against OK St and twice against UCF.

They would rather play a game in the 60s or low 70s since they don't have the offensive firepower that other teams in the Big XII have. But they do a good job taking away what their opponent wants to do and will usually stay within 12-15 points even when they don't hit shots.

I'd be surprised with a blowout. I could see the score within 6-8 points at half with a final score around 82-68

Key word is "shouldn't". Mid-week game, ridiculously cold night, last place opponent, third time we've played them, they're coming off a win, etc.... Has all the markings of upset city (think KState).

That said, I'll be shocked if TJ doesn't have our guys minds right. Hoping for 20 point win.
The Clones ain't losing this game, no way no how. They're still turning the ball over too much but it seems like they've gotten their game back after the KU debacle. I expect a double digit win and closer to 20 than 10.

I wonder about the all-time record for facing someone a third time with a 2-0 record... it's a common saying "It's hard to beat a team three times" but I've always felt that if you're good enough to beat them twice, then you're probably just the better team. Simple as that.

In this case, I'm extra confident because Iowa State's 2-0 is a neutral court whooping and a hard-fought road win. Good Guys win tonight, 79-68

I think this applies most times in the NFL. Other sports, not as much. But I get your point.

Guaranteed Elijah Malone could not sleep last night thinking about what Chatfield and Jackson are going to do to him tonight.

Smelling like another 25+ pt conference win
