Guaranteed Elijah Malone could not sleep last night thinking about what Chatfield and Jackson are going to do to him tonight.

Smelling like another 25+ pt conference win
I would like to see lean into what we've been doing well (FTs and Offensive Rebounding) - and on their weakness (turnover prone).

The Buffs won't be an easy out I don't think. Seems like beating a team 3 times in a season is a hard thing to do. That said, this is in Hilton and they are arguably (unarguably?) the worst team in the conference.

I'll predict a win but no cover, 83-71 good guys
Beating a team 3x is no harder than beating them twice.

Hopefully improve TOs and other sketchy areas and win comfortably (15+ but not under 10 late)

It would be crazy if we played them in KC. I wonder if conference opponents have ever played 4 time sin a season before?

I don't recall any 4-timers in Big 12 or Big 8, but it has occurred in other leagues. Quick search, ACC had at least two occurrences.

In 1985-86, Kentucky played two conference teams four times: Alabama and LSU. Twice each in regular season, played each in SEC tournament and NCAAT.

The Clones ain't losing this game, no way no how. They're still turning the ball over too much but it seems like they've gotten their game back after the KU debacle. I expect a double digit win and closer to 20 than 10.

I'm expecting the Clones to win as well, everybody does. But never say "no way, no how" because you have no idea. Guessing you probably said the exact same thing a few weeks ago when we got beat by KState.

Iowa State played Mizzou four times in '78 and Kansas four times in '79. The old Big 8 Holiday tournament and the "new" postseason tournament overlapped for three years (77-79) before the Holiday tournament went away.

K-State has pieces where you could at least somewhat understand why they could upset some teams......Colorado is just flat out bad

Who wouldn't want to spend their holiday with Norm Stewart?

They hung with Houston and KU (more so Houston) recently and finally got over the bump with putting UCF away Saturday.

They're not good, their record is bad, but imo ISU will still need to be sharp or it could have similar vibes as Saturday.

Ok lets get up big and with 10 minutes left we rest the starters and get extra charged for Saturday @Houston.

Then we Take the car. Go to mum's. Kill Phil, grab Liz, go to the Winchester, have a nice cold pint, and wait for all of this to blow over.

This same Colorado team that beat UCONN on a neutral floor? That's what you call "flat out bad?" I guess it's all relative, but "flat out bad" to me seems more like a Mississippi Valley State team than this Big XII team that has some talent. I expect the Clones to win by a lot, but "flat out bad" should be reserved for your over 40 rec league basketball team in my opinion, not a team that only lost two nonconference games to ranked teams.
