The only thing that I will get even a little worried about is the foul situation with our bigs. I was curious if Carter would get even a minute or two but Prohm decided not to use him in a tight game.

I don't think Carter is physical enough for a team like CU at this point

Really impressed with abdel and naz. I think naz is going to be much more than just a 3 pt specialist this year. So pumped to be able to immerse myself in college basketball all night.

That performance we put out there was a performance of a team that was in control of that game throughout! We beat a team somewhat comfortably who is expected to finish in the top half of the Pac 12. Not to mention it was the first game of the year. You honestly have no clue what you're talking about.

Enjoy the rose colored glasses.

They might indeed be a good team but that performance by them was not good. It's not about what the team looks like on paper it's about how they perform. On paper we should have destroyed UAB. That performance we put out there gets you sent home in the first round of the Tourney.

Just quit, please.

I haven't been able to find stats but they were on fire with 3s and we missed a lot of layups and free throws. That is why it was only a 6 point win instead of a 20 point win.

Georges Niang: "A wise man always told me, ‘Don’t ever feel sorry for winning.’ That wise man happens to be coaching the Bulls."

It was ugly, it was a win, move on and be happy. If you are an ISU fan that doesn't feel good after a win away from Hilton against a major conference team, re-evaluate your life.

Whatever dude you clearly aren't a Clone fan. Sorry life if this how you're spending your Friday night. We were in control of the game the entire second half. Top 3-4 toughest out of conference game and we got through it! Great win!

I said before I was encouraged by the fact that we were in control of the game inspite of making only 3 threes. But we are ranked 7th and played sloppy. Against a team that may or may not be good but played crappier than we did.

You don't suppose their best player struggled because we geared our defense to stop him? Their shooters played great, their star had a rough night. Not a coincidence.

Bosco and isufanz1...take your negative attitude to the football boards. We won. There is enough negativity on this board with losses in football we don't need it for a win in basketball.

Ha alright...their offense runs through their All Pac 12 forward. Maybe...just maybe...their offense struggled because that Jameel McKay kid was the Big 12 defensive POY. Credit due to CU as well that kid gave Niang problems at times. His hook shot wasnt as automatic as usual that post player for them was tough.

Every team that gives us a game isn't playing their ***** off. There are going to be a lot of games this. This was a rather poopy performance. That CU team is not good. This performance was UAB level. Which is disappointing since this team had supposedly learned their lesson.

It looks like to me that this team is on their own plan and Prohm is coach in name only at this moment.

LOL. After the first game. A win.

Stats are up on Cylones.com.

McKay played 26 minutes, Thomas 24.

Considering the strength of that team is the front court, kind of amazing. Shocked we won the battle of the boards.

Www

Typical putz - what a canned reply. If I am not cheering at the top of my lungs I must not be a cyclone fan. You holier than now fans are amazing. I gave a critical evaluation of a game - nothing more or nothing less.

I don't care how good of a defensive coach he is. Bottom line is this looked a lot like last year (25 min of hard effort) and shows me all the talk about learning from UAB and other similar games last year is a bunch of bunk.

We need a Safe Space on this board.
