He plays good defense as well.Would've liked to see Cooke get more minutes. Had a sweet assist, but didn't really get an opportunity out there.

I'm sure Matt Thomas will be CF whipping boy, but saving that bad break pass and getting it to Nader was critical
My night will be ruined if I don't see Arob and Schfinkter
So our game was really the first mbb game to be played this year? Very cool.

No, it was the first nationally televised
This is a new experience. We beat a decent P5 team on a dumpy neutral court by 6 in the first game of the season and people are ready to burn the program down because we didn't blow that team out.
Chill out, haters.

Actually not too concerned about the 3pt shooting. Boyle was intent on not giving us a 3pt shot. And rarely double teamed in the post. This allowed a lot of drives to the hoop which we took advantage of.Ugly, but it is a win. Main concerns for offense are only 10 3 point shots, and only made two, and only 12 assists on 29 baskets. Those are not exactly ISU numbers, but that can only get better. May have just been Colorado size, first game jitters, slightly new offense, the gym.....who knows?
Defensive improvement may help a lot more this year than we realize right now.
Have to improve quickly. Illinois/UAB/Cincinnati not that far away.
Congrats on first ISU win though CSP!

Nader had a good game when he started taking it inside. Zero reason for him to shoot outside 6 feet. That was a fun atmosphere to be at.
