Mckay dunk counter is I believe at 3. He made 4 shots but I think one was regular put back shot near the basket. Felt like he had more than 3.

This is a new experience. We beat a decent P5 team on a dumpy neutral court by 6 in the first game of the season and people are ready to burn the program down because we didn't blow that team out.

Chill out, haters.

Neutral? Yes. Dumpy? No.

It was pretty loud, and a great atmosphere

Some of you need to calm down. We didn't look good and still won. That's the name of the game in the early part of the season when you're away from home

Nader had a good game when he started taking it inside. Zero reason for him to shoot outside 6 feet. That was a fun atmosphere to be at.

Ugly, but it is a win. Main concerns for offense are only 10 3 point shots, and only made two, and only 12 assists on 29 baskets. Those are not exactly ISU numbers, but that can only get better. May have just been Colorado size, first game jitters, slightly new offense, the gym.....who knows?

Defensive improvement may help a lot more this year than we realize right now.

Have to improve quickly. Illinois/UAB/Cincinnati not that far away.

Congrats on first ISU win though CSP!
Actually not too concerned about the 3pt shooting. Boyle was intent on not giving us a 3pt shot. And rarely double teamed in the post. This allowed a lot of drives to the hoop which we took advantage of.

It's a little encouraging that we were in control of that game while only making 3 three pointers.

We lose meltdown, we win meltdown. SMH.

I suggest some people truly enjoy this season instead being a bunch of Debbie Downers.

I expected a bigger win, but I don't get being disappointed by a win over a tough team.
Maybe if we didn't know that our guys make a good team, but we already know pretty well how good we'll turn out to be.

Sort of ugly, but a nice win.
