Kind of nice to see UConn still landing good basketball recruits with where there football program is, gives hope that worse case conference scenario for us we can still make waves in basketball at the elite level. Unless it's doomsday scenario from CW/Blum where the NCAA tourney is not the same.

This might be nonsense, I've had a few (double digit +) beers.

How about this for a take, then?

I’d rather have a Wesley Johnson 2.0 than a poor man’s Georges, because at the very least…the raw athleticism for defense is going to be better.

Top notch defense seems to fit with T.J.’s vision.


It's not unreasonable to think that Watson could turn out to better than Karaban. Maybe the "absurdly pleased" got you the strong negative reaction, but, hey, no harm in being happy about the kids who are coming here.
