Are official visits better for ISU than unofficial? Because don’t athletes have a limited number of officials they can take so it means ISU is in a pretty good spot if he wants to take an official?

Correct and it’s also a good sign for a guy like Watson who is from Minnesota and could easily just do an unofficial instead

At first I thought you meant OP of this thread, which is only an article about Lipsey. Then I came back and read the rest of your post and realized it was a link to a different thread. Not sure I see a summary of new staff offered. I see two offers and a list of visits. Is that it? Thanks.

Even tho he had an offer from Prohm you can add Demarion Watson to the list of new offers too. Otz reportedly offered this kid as well although he looks to be a long shot. https://247sports.com/player/camden-heide-46082350/

Not 2022 but they hosted a 2023 recruit from Oklahoma this week.

Karaban and Black seem like the two legit and top targets right now. Maybe followed by Camden Heide (another D1 Minnesota kid).

I think we take at least one more 2022 and wouldn't say no if you could grab both Karaban and Black. It's pretty unlikely Javan and Brockington choose to use their extra years having already redshirted in college. Javan turns 23 mid season. Could definitely see Conditt electing to use his extra year though.

There's always roster attrition via transfer as well. It's probably a make or break year for guys like Tre Jackson and Jaden Walker.

Think I would add Watson to Karaban and Black as "priority" targets

Funny, in the basketball recruiting forum, people are happy we’re recruiting the Midwest instead of Florida.

Meanwhile, in the football recruiting forum, everyone’s excited about all the cool guys we’re hot after from Florida.

Aside from the obvious, there hasn’t been a whole lot of traction on who T.J. Is after for ‘22.

Yeah that's the only actual offers, we already have 2 commits for 2022 so the net won't be cast too wide.
