Yup...I thought so. Doesn't mean he's better or that we should take him but he just had a really good 3 games in DM. Plus DeVries played PG...he's not a PG, he's got a really high ceiling but that will be when he can play off the ball in college. He also played with a bunch of other d1 kids so he didn't have to do as much. Kramer was captain of an all tourney team with 3 p6 kids on it. He had a great run.
I doubt he makes that big of a jump. To me he looks like more of a floor general with a lot of intangibles at the most important position on the floor. He isn't going to overwhelm people with his game, which is usually the guys that make big jumps into the Top 50. If he's top 150, we should be excited for what he will bring to the program.
You may be right. I've always liked the Aaron Craft comparison (hopefully Lipsey will be a better shooter) and he was just inside the top 100 in rank. I would have thought he would have been higher.

Looks athletic and physical. It will be interesting to see if he blows up over the summer.
He's clearly more athletic than Holloway, which is why he could be a Top 100/150 guy. Holloway averaged 5 points and 6 assists as a senior. Lipsey has more potential as a scorer, but yes, he is a distributor and steady presence like Holloway.
Update with AK, looking to set officials in the fall but doesn't hint who will get 1 of the 5.
Looking at the Rivals list here, and what schools these players are committed to, interesting to see our area "competition". For example I did not see Minnesota on the list. Did see both Marquette and Creighton three times.

Like the fact he's taking an official visit to ISU, would be an easy "unofficial visit" distance. ISU must be a solid option for Demarion.

That is going to happen with a new staff. They may chose to keep recruiting players that were being recruited by the previous staff. Taming Lipsey is exhibit A.
