I would be fine to take both, but the logistics of such would be tricky. I trust the staff to move the pieces on the board to come out with the best option.

I will admit that I have wanted Tandy pretty bad for a long time, though.

He takes over Wigginton's spot in the rotation perfectly.

Tandy/Horton-Tucker/Leech/Young/Lard two years from now, plus some nice bench depth from Nixon, Jacobson, and a few of the other underclassmen, is a good lineup.
1-3: Wiggi (probably not), THT, Tandy, Nixon, Haliburton - 1 SR, 1 JR, 2 SO, 1 FR
2-3: Leech, Lewis - 1 JR, 1 FR
3-4: Griffin, Anderson - 1 SO, 1 FR
4-5: Lard, Young, Jacobson, Conditt - 2 SR, 1 JR, 1 SO

3 SR, 3 JR, 4 SO, 3 FR = finally some class balance, will go hard for bigs in 2020 (1a. Xavier Foster, 1b. Ben Carlson)

Looks like Jones visited Auburn this past weekend and has or had scheduled visits to Louisville and Ole Miss upcoming (dates have changed & not sure if Ole Miss visit is still a thing). Other schools that seem to be recently involved are Georgia, Florida, Clemson, Tennessee, SMU and Minnesota. He blew up this summer. Auburn seems to be the favorite FWIW.

He looks really fast and gets good lift on his jump shot..

We don't stand a chance if Bag Man Bruce Pearl is in on the recruitment... semi-jimlad.

Well Auburn has offered McKinney, Sturdivant and Tandy too, so Prohm doesn't share your thoughts on going head to head Pearl.
Interesting another 2019 guard target is becoming know this late though.

Like Tyrell Jones game. He is full package for PG. I have been a big on wanting Tandy, but I would not be disappointed at all to get Tyrell. Much more interesting than the KU decommit who seems like an early offer/commit that didn't progress as a player as projected and now has been pushed to the side by KU.

Strange we are getting in this late on someone. Hopefully we didn’t just throw out an offer and there is mutual interest

I'd assume that we are trying to get two, with Wigginton almost certainly declaring for the draft next year (plus any attrition).

That was always the plan but I only expect them to take one guard in the fall and wait for the spring for a JC/Grad Transfer (dependent on Lindell decision). I don't think the staff will over sign.

While I believe LW will ultimately decide to go pro I don't think it is a given Reports from the late summer CP# camp wasn't great and didn't answer questions about his ball handling and ability to play PG at his size in the NBA. He has been moving down some boards. Lindell will need demonstrate improvement there during the year to be a locked 1 rd pick.
Staff is preparing for multiple scenarios. a benefit of having only one spot this early is they can evaluate a specific position with a plan (thus recent PG/CG interest/offers) instead of trying to split their time on multiple positions late in the fall.

Yeah, I think it is pretty simple at this point --

Get the best guard you can this fall.

Then you are done for the immediate future; concentrate on readying for the beginning of the actual season, given how important this year will be for the future of the program. Prohm got a mulligan for last year given the construction of the roster when he came in, but this is year four and a team full of players he recruited and has coached up.

This is the referendum.

Have that spare in the spring to be a player on those markets or keep Wigginton.

Even if Lindell stays and does not go pro. Most likely someone will leave the program. It's natural at this point.

Never saw anything on his CP3 camp performance. Do you have any links? Thx
