Although I'm not overly impressed with Conditt or Haliburton, I would be ecstatic with a class of those two plus Griffin and THT. I think Griffin and THT are both game changer type players.

I'm guessing that recruits throw out the top 7/top 5/top 3 as a bone to some of the coaches that they like on a personal level. Not a great consolation prize, but it's something.
Or maybe he's keeping his options open just in case he doesn't like what he sees when he goes on his official visits for his top three.

THT would be a huge get beyond just getting him as a player. Continues to help open up Chicago and even more important gets us a Simeon product.

We could be saying the guy who opened Chi-town was Griffin a couple of years from now and he was the first.
We should wait and see Monday on Conditt and then THT before we get to far ahead of ourselves on pipeline talk, but looks promising at this point.

Just saying I'm not impressed by their highlights. Similar to how I felt with Jakolby Long. The thing is, you don't know what kind of work ethic these guys have. Hard work could make them great players. Plus you need role players on a team too.

Who else haven't you been impressed with prior to last year's class?

Lock up Conditt tomorrow. Bring the 3 commits + THT to Hilton Madness and I'll really like where we sit. Zion and Tyrese already seem like they will be very actively recruiting THT in the coming weeks and hopefully Conditt will be joining that effort tomorrow.

Conditt already started recruiting THT yesterday.
The tweet that i posted earlier in this thread is a very good indicator that conditt will be committing to us tomorrow imo.

The biggest one that I wasn't impressed with was Percy Gibson. To this day I don't understand why he got a scholarship at a big 12 school. I didn't like the Brady Ernst offer but I completely understood it. We were desperate for bigs at the time and he was home grown. After he got here, I wish we would have kept him. I felt he was a hard worker from what we heard out of the first practices.

But those are the ones that weren't hits. There were some I thought had a chance if they came in and worked hard. For instance, I thought Simeon Carter had potential if he came in and worked his butt off, but I don't think he did. I really liked SDW when we got him but he never came across as a team player while here.

I really like athletes with defensive versatility, but hard workers will trump that every time. That's why I have no problem with whoever we get cus you never know how hard of a worker they will be. I mean look at Naz, freshman year everyone thought he would transfer. What does he do instead? He works his ass off to become a 3 point and defensive specialist. You cannot teach hard work. I really hope Conditt and Haliburton are hard workers cus I wanna see every cyclone reach their potential.

The tweet you posted earlier was Conditt's father's Twitter handle.
