THT doesn't do any damage from the outside? Thought he could shoot the '3' ball? He's just a slasher on the wing, or where position-wise is he most likely to play?

THT doesnt need to shoot the 3 to score but he can shoot the 3..he started the season a little colder from 3 but he will be more than capable of shooting 3 in college..but his game is a pure dynamic scorer..THT is going to be a match up nightmare at ISU.

Was talking about his teammate and Drake commit. Sorry. As for THT, he can definitely shoot the 3 ball. He has a very smooth stroke, unlimited range and has a really nice step back to create separation. He'll be one of our better shooters next year.

I think they want Halliburton to be the PG from that class. I could see THT of being a hybrid of Niang and Burton.

Ummm, yeah, which is why I said "point guard/forward" vs just "point guard." THT is going to get more PT than Haliburton next year who may even red shirt until he's stronger and NWB graduates.

With Prohm's experience with Niang handling the ball so much, I can see THT used in a similar capacity.

I have heard Hawkeye fans say “matchup nightmare”so much about average players I almost don’t want to hear it at all.

I’d just prefer people say a guy is versatile or a player that can get their own shot. He’ll probably play the 2 or 3 and it won’t take a rocket scientist to put a bigger wing defender on him and try to to switch a small guy or your 5 man on to him. Not exactly a matchup nightmare.

Retweeted by George and Talen. I hope that means we are still in hot pursuit although I wouldn't mind a juco or grad transfer stretch 4 instead.

Yeah, hard to know what's needed the most. I don't care what position or height, I want a big time shooter, a guy that can get open and knock em down. Beverly's position on the team right now (for example) has had plenty of perimeter looks that I wish we had a lock down shooter for.

I’m a best available fan, but I doubt we’re able to land a NCOY type at any position.

A big time shooter at guard would be redundant, but a stretch 4 would pull out defenders while receiving passes from NWB/Wigginton. A huge schematic impact. It’s an asset that appears to be missing, although maybe Jacobson or Young add it.

Harris may be too good of scorer to pass on, although his size adds some risk. Looking past 18-19, another lead guard would be nice.

Is it really that much of a risk? If a kid doesn't get playing time they're going to transfer. It's just the mindset of college basketball right now.

Tyler Harris with an insane game winner last night. Wouldn't say that's how the coach drew that up but it went in ;)

He just seems like a winner. Looks like they were confused by the zone the other team was playing.

I implied he’s a risk to not be that scorer at the college level, particularly next year. No one alluded to him being a risk in terms of being a 4-year miss. I assume our staff is down with giving guys the handshake.

Pretty sure The New George is going to be a stretch 4. He actually plays a nice inside outside game.
