agclone seems pretty logical to me.

Robinson being here again is a huge joke.

Somehow Berry is supposed to go from low major assistant, to special coach of something or other, to lead recruiter.

I'm not sure what Small even does recruiting wise.

It isn't like any of these guys are up and comers, they've been around for quite sometime to prove they aren't going to recruit at a high level.

Small lands really good basketball players from the South.

What other recruits have a visit scheduled?

Call me spoiled, but at this point, I really expect commitments after a visit now. I think available playing time is a huge advantage right now.

Darius McNeill and Elijah Joiner I think are the only two scheduled with firm dates, but Wiggins also said he will visit in Sept/Oct.

Awesome McNeil is a combo? And Joiner another forward?

Joiner more of a SG or CG. I get the feeling that he's the backup to McNeill. McNeill gets the first visit and if we don't land him we bring Joiner in a couple weeks later.

It also sounds like they would still take Wigginton since McNeill is more of a combo and Lindell is a true PG.

I could definitely be wrong, but I see ISU taking any combination of guards like Wigginton, Sexton, McNeill and Joiner. With 3 guard offenses being the trend, I think we can take two. Especially, with the loss of perimeter players after this season.

It's gonna be interesting to see how this class ends up. If lard is ineligible or not on scholarship we can go after a mid year transfer. Maybe he reclassifies to 17' and we still have room to go after at least 2 HS guys and grad or sit out transfer. Exciting times ahead.

Getting two solid recruits early on really helps us be more selective going forward.

Between these two, the handful of remaining kids were after, JC recruits and the transfer market, it looks like Prohm will have some good talent to replace much of what we lose.

McNeil and Wigginton should be, and I'm guessing are, our main targets now. I think we can get McNeil. Wigginton is less likely, but still a possibility.

Darius McNeill (PG/combo)
Elijah Joiner (SG)
Collin Sexton (PG)
Lindell Wigginton (PG)
Aamir Simms (F)
Davion Cole-Johnson (SG/wing) *juco
Teddy Allen (F)
Donnie Tillman (F)
Isaiah Stokes (PF/C)
Nick Claxton (PF)

These are the main known targets we have left. We have not heard a lot about many of those kids, but who knows where they/we stand because this staff keeps things so tight to the vest.

The top 5 on that list either have a visit scheduled, or have said that they will be setting one up for early this fall.

I am curious to see who Collin Sexton has on his Final 5.

I think Stokes was offered by UNC. Not sure how much mutual interest there was for ISU to begin with?

Get a couple of these high potential HS guards, then be selective with JUCO's or grad transfers to fill immediate needs. Gotta keep stockpiling talent.

Read that we may sign 4 or 5 high school kids now and are less likely to go juco. Not a lot of juco bigs that they like. The one juco wing other than that we may not be interested. Still will keep one open for a transfer though.

I'd rather take a chance on a guy like Teddy Allen than a JUCO guy who likely won't contribute (if there are none they like).
