And he'll probably commit before the weekend is over.
And if by some chance he doesn't, he will put out a top 5 and or six out next week. But really, he's going to Mississippi state.
It's that time of the year where we don't hear much about communication/progress with a recruit. The only way we hear something worth-while is if it is a recruit announcing a visit that he is going to make
surprised there isn't more discussion of the Feazell visit this weekend. Would be a nice addition.
Agreed. If Prohm can get a commitment from Feazell this weekend, I'll feel really good about where we're sitting going into the fall. I'm confident that Prohm can get an impact guard and hopefully two (one HS, one JC), but with the number of open spots we have, having two filled already with consensus top 150 players would be a major step in the right direction.
My guess is they'd rather have Simms than Feazell

I wonder if it's the opposite. We have seen the staff try and order visits by priority (see Lewis or Wright for an extreme case). It's a great strategy if they can pull it off.
But either would be great additions
Yea, Feazell and Simms are different types of post players so I would think we take both. If we get a HS CG like McNeill, then I think that dictates we go after a JUCO wing.
Would love to get a Feazell commit over the weekend, but I think he will take more visits. So I think we will need some patience. Hope I'm wrong.

Haven't really understood the hype around Simms yet. Based on the eye test I would think Feazell would be the higher rated recruit...
I completely agree with you here. I haven't seen too much tape on Simms, but from what I have seen he seems to be a quality player, nothing special, though. I think that if we miss on Feazell, Simms is a solid back up plan.
