I actually think it was a smart move. He just didn’t have the strength for whatever reason to get it out of bounds. Yes, hindsight, take the sack. But than you would have posted that he should have thrown it away. JFC, I hate most of you
No he made the right call to throw it away BUT you have to be sure you can throw it away. It happens and he misjudged the distance or his own arm strength from that angle. But that’s why coaches tell you to throw it away only if you know damn well you are going to get it clearly out of bounds. Oh well.

True...it does happen...but that one could be a play that we look at that comes at the cost of a loss. Still a half of the game to play but that was a terrible decision! Worse than the missed XP which is incredibly frustrating as well!
I thought Baylor was going to come to play today. Then, things can happen, and before you know the other guys get on a roll.

Let's see if we can put 'em away in half #2.

Bummer end to the half, but considering where things stood early in the 2Q, I feel optimistic. BU hasn't looked as good on offense, and ISU O seems a little more in flow.

And we're leading!
When BU gets the kickoff to start the half, Cyclone D needs to come out and make a statement w/a quick 3 & out.

But, he made the right decision. That’s what matters. Didn’t turn out but I’m actually happy to see he tried to get rid of it rather than take the sack or force a throw. I’m sure the coaching staff will use this as a learning experience for this young man.
