This will be the first game i'll be significantly disappointed if we lose. The other games i can handle.

I think the offense gets things rolling saturday and plays quite well. I think we move the ball well with Lenz and White hopefully back. Baylor's defense is not very good, and not nearly as talented as OSU's or even Tech's. I think if our defense can stuff their running game (even if their passing game does pretty well) we can limit their offense. I see their offense putting up numbers similar to what Oklahoma State did, hopefully a little less.

If those things happen,

I'll be honest, there is no excuse for not being able to move the ball on OSU. THey are in the bottom half for defense so I am calling BU 34-17 unless this offense get's their head out of their ***.

Baylor runs a clever offense. It may work in bad conditions. Let's hope not. Maybe we just need to run Woody up the middle.

31-28.

Well, no game is won untill it's played.
I'm hopefull we are healthy, and remain that way throughout the game.
I don't expect the "morning line" or the o/u to change much throughout the week either.
Go 'Clones! ...just win!

How bad will you feel when ISU can only muster about 20 points? The offense is a mess, outside a defensive score and a couple of turnovers putting this offense into scoring opportunities I see a big Baylor win, something like 41-17. Arceo hits a 50 yard field goal. BTW, how can our kicker be better at FG's >40 then with extra points?

Baylor has the worst D-1 defense in the country.

That probably means a score of 7-6, you flip a coin for the winner.

I think that we win about 30-20. I don't know how we get to 30, but it's Baylor. That may be all the argument anyone needs.
That's my thought as well. Yes, Baylor's defense is horrifyingly bad but if we still do not block anybody or throw catchable passes it really doesn't matter a whole lot. I'm not saying we only score 10 again but I don't know how we would put up more than 28 unless we get a defensive or special teams score or two.
28-27 ISU with Sam Richardson leading a come from behind win in the second half.

Back and forth game the entire way, but ISU's offense finds their way in this game against a Jr. High defense.

Baylor finishes the 1st quarter with a 10-7 lead, but ISU is up at half 21-17. ISU finishes the third quarter up 28-27.

6 minutes left in the game, and ISU has a 35-30, and Baylor's offense takes the field. JTS is going crazy, but Baylor's offense drives down the field in 4 minutes and scores a TD to go ahead 37-35. ISU gets the ball with 2 minutes left, and does a great job getting the ball down the field. Arceo knocks down a 35-yard field goal with 6 seconds left in the game, ISU wins the game 38-37.

With Barnett: 24-13

With Jantz: 34-13

With Richardson: 45-6

We need this win, so regardless of who gets the start, we need better tempo and play calling on offense.
