Too many people freaking out in the first half. Yeah, it wasn't a great first half for the defense, but they were lights out in the second half.

I admit I freaked out on the D in the first half. I know it's typically a slow-build for that unit, but we were getting eaten alive.

I'd probably rather have the D struggle early and the offense be firing on (almost) all cylinders, compared to the opposite.

My boss, who is supportive of me and Iowa State, but is an A&M Aggie... said "congrats, I really hope you can keep that coach of yours"... I said "Blah blah blah you've been watching too much ESPN."

Cool story bro, I know.

Hawkeye fan yanking my chain afterwards that ISU would never be able to keep CMC. Then went on to say rumor out of IC that Jets were wanting Brian! Sent him the satire piece from WRNL & haven’t heard a word since. Hawks have eyeballs and they see what everybody else can see !

The trash hawkeye fans on Hawkeye Heaven Facebook are extremely hurt tonight. I'm loving every second. They can't take it. A bunch of losers.

Vance had two fumble recoveries.

Purdy probably got the hometown vote ;)
Well maybe. But Purdy played pretty damb good. We got good Purdy today and no turnovers, no int's, no fumbles! Clean.

I'd love to see an in depth piece on just how well ISU handled the COVID protocols, etc. I believe we were the only Power 5 team to make it through without a schedule change, right?

The discipline this team showed to stay healthy is truly remarkable.
Just said on the radio show they were calling the players 6 times a day to check in on them
Wow. I guess it worked. Props to these guys.

Shoutout to Kene Nwangwu. He was a huge factor for us all season as a backup and kick returner. A lot of guys in his position would've transferred a couple years ago.
Agree. And I haven't checked the stats yet but I commented on him once or twice during the game, and one of them he had like 3, 9 yard runs in a row!

Can't help but wonder how Latrell Bankson is feeling right now. I'm sure he's happy for his former teammates, and I know he wants to go somewhere where he can get more snaps, but it has to hurt to not be part of this historic win.
I will always love what LB did for this program, but he made his call. I think he will do fine down there. He would have done well here though so I don't know. I wish him well.

You want to buy a shirt from the biggest donor for the Oregon Ducks...nope. There will be other shirts available.

So what if we buy an ISU shirt from an Oregon supporter? ISU gets part of the money too. In any case, why are we boycotting Oregon now?
