I think we will finish the season at #8 with a championship game appearance and Fiesta Bowl victory. Never thought these things were possible at Iowa State.

Didn’t really Vance had two fumble recoveries. That makes a little more sense. Purdy had to just be because he was the hometown guy.
He was also my favorite Holiday Baking Championships host.
Was kind of wondering that since the game revolved around Hall and imo the defensive line did it for the defense as it looked like they started to screw up the timing.
Did ISU have anyone "opt out" all year? There are so many in these bowl games. That's a tribute to their loyalty to this coaching staff.
Joey Galloway was on the Cyclone bandwagon last year. Not sure what happened this season. I think he picked us to beat Notre Dame. Maybe he quit on us after that.
Definitely shows you something special. Loyalty. Building tradition. Leaving your stamp.
I never thought I would see this in my lifetime, as pathetic as that sounds. But the best part, I truly believe this is the beginning!!!
Just dropping in to express my joy at the W today. I've been going to Cyclone football games my entire life, had season tickets for almost 20 years. I had basically accepted that I'd probably never see a moment like this. I'm thankful for what this team has given us.
Campbell isn't there yet but in many ways Campbell seems to be like or approaching John Wooden. I just love the quotes he has. Wooden was like that.
I love also that he is so different from many other coaches. He acknowledged the players parents. Who does that other than humble strong people such as Matt? Many other coaches would be more boastful. And the team was happy for sure but still maintained a certain composure in the post game. Love it.

I'd love to see an in depth piece on just how well ISU handled the COVID protocols, etc. I believe we were the only Power 5 team to make it through without a schedule change, right?
