I'd love to see an in depth piece on just how well ISU handled the COVID protocols, etc. I believe we were the only Power 5 team to make it through without a schedule change, right?

The discipline this team showed to stay healthy is truly remarkable.
Yeah for as impressive as this season was that might be even more impressive.

O we will fight, fight, fight for Iowa State,
And may her colors ever fly.
Yes, we will fight with might for Iowa State,
With a will to do or die,
Rah! Rah! Rah!
Loyal sons forever true,
And we will fight the battle through.
And when we hit that line we'll hit it hard
ev'ry yard for I.S.U.

They need to put together a 'The Season' or Chronicles type of thing for this group like they do for B1G teams.

I'd hope someone was filming this team from afar.

Make a 30 for 30 about this squad!

Also, props to players and all staff involved in following COVID protocols. ISU did a great job keeping away The Rona.

It’s partially luck too. We could only control our team, not the other, and we lucked into not having any other team with issues when we played them.

Just said on the radio show they were calling the players 6 times a day to check in on them

Campbell isn't there yet but in many ways Campbell seems to be like or approaching John Wooden. I just love the quotes he has. Wooden was like that.

I love also that he is so different from many other coaches. He acknowledged the players parents. Who does that other than humble strong people such as Matt? Many other coaches would be more boastful. And the team was happy for sure but still maintained a certain composure in the post game. Love it.

Way to go Cyclones!
Good point - maybe I'm wrong, but I can't imagine Saban citing the parents' role in the Tide's success so prominently.
