Was unable to watch the game but I always look at the boxscore. 1-17 from 3 sums it up it appears. Maybe whatever Jackson had spread to the others.

Sucks watching other teams storm the court against you. That’s gotta motivate the players
yeah, ranked that high means you got a target on your back every road game. Hopefully they absolutely hated the court storm.

Chatt is extremely limited offensively. He was wide open 5 feet from the basket and instead drove into a defender. 5 feet - no consideration of taking a shot.

Huh? We missed 3 layups late. Missed open 3’s all day?

I think it’s absolutely insane that I even have to defend my take that we lost this game by our play.

Maybe if you didn't come on here every single game and attack any criticism of refs you wouldnt have people pushing back when you attack anyone who criticize the refs

Haven’t read thru the thread but has the double dribble on Small crossing half court with about a minute left been mentioned? We were down 5 so might not have mattered but it was right in front of a ref! That being said can’t go 1 for 17 from three and expect to win. On to the next one.

Gilbert needs to back off the street ball throttle a little until he can figure the game speed. He has become somewhat of a turnover machine the last few games.
The problem is he was playing the same way early in the season when he was great. So is it a simple as a spacing issue without Milan, him hitting a slump or what. Need him back on track ASAP

I'm curious how the team graded out overall.

Didn't that Pitt game include every single ISU player having their worst day at the same time?
It was a crazy anomaly and I think you are right.

It wasn’t even missing high contested shots, it was missing bunnies and wide open shots. Which felt similar to tonight.

But I got like 30 quote replies explicitly saying it was the refs that cost us this game so what do I know.

The shooting was awful and that contributed to the loss.

The refs were awful and that also contributed to the loss.

People choosing to focus on one doesn't mean they're absolving the other. The gatekeeping over which complaints are valid and which aren't is really ******* stupid.

Miss 17 three pointers and you will lose. Miss several layups and you will lose. We did that. That’s not on the refs. We are fine though. I think we are missing Milan more than I thought. Especially being able to spread the floor for Keshon. Heise plays good defense and does some good things but can’t shoot for crap. They don’t have to guard him at the theee line and can just pack it and n. We will be back soon enough

Blaming the refs for us putting up 57 points, turning the ball over 14 times, getting zero stops in crunch time, and going 1/17 from 3 with most wide open is a loser mentality.

We played like ass and got beat.
But who is saying we didn't play bad? Two things can be true at the same time. We absolutely played our worst game of the year. We were terrible. But despite that, the game was close with 3 minutes left when the two fouls against Jefferson (zero contact) and Lipsey (zero contact ) happened. Those two calls turned the game. Yes, we were horrible, but the refs were bad.
