Meanwhile at SEC Media Days, Yormark continues to get under Sankey's skin. Sankey is not pleased that Yormark is not rolling over for the SEC and Big 10 and that the 5+11 is being credited to the Big 12/ACC.

Good Lord Indiana:

This type of scheduling will keep happening as long as bad SOS is not punished. As a fan this would lower what I would be willing to pay for season tickets, but the AD probably doesn't care about that.

Indiana must be banking on the 4-4-2-2 model, so, make schedule as weak as possible.

Of course, Virginia is far from a juggernaut profile-booster, but at least it gives the appearance of trying.
I think a 4-4-2-2-1 model would make OOC SOS more important because there’s only 3 at-large berths

the opposite would occur with a 4-4-2-2, that's one of the bigger selling points of the idea.

What Indiana is doing is gross and will hurt them if they're ever in that position again

Similar to my thinking (in a general way) -- what's the rush? Give 12-team more time to evolve.

I think a 16 team playoff would be better for the team I root for (and the team you root for) but in the grand scheme of things whether it's at 12 or 16 won't change who the champion will be.
