The football team walked out of Morgantown a victor..... basketball team might as well, too.
Cyclones win 78-63. ISU will shoot a lot more free throws than WV unless the officiating is the worst of the year so far.
Time to be road dogs, if the game is with in 5 with 5 minutes left, I like our chances, this team is tougher than most.
Dunno. We very well could lose and I won’t be upset if we do. But I think we win something like 78-71

1/10/2015 was the last win there by 2 points and was one of the best rosters ISU has ever seen.

I had us losing 5 games in league play and this was one of them.
the good thing? I also had us losing to Tech on the road which didn't happen, so thats nice.
Although the way AZ and Houston are playing I am not sure they will lose 5 times.
WVU is beat up right now. Love getting them coming off 2 road games, the last one being at Houston. That said we are walking into a hornets nest and will have to play better than we have on the road to this point and start FAST.

I’m in Morgantown right now! Last night my fiancée and I went out to Spage with some ISU gear on. Karaoke was happening so sang a bunch and met some cool college students and WVU fans. All of them were super welcoming, one guy bought us shots, and it was a good night. That being said, we must destroy the Mountaineers today!
I think this is a good matchup for us. WV is elite guarding the 3 point line but less good protecting the rim and not great rebounding. We just need to get the big dogs rolling inside with DWat hunting for the scraps.
I had no recollection of Javan Small playing us last year - even though I'm sure I watched the OSU game. That's because he went 3-11 from the field (8 pts) and turned the ball over 4 times.
He's gone from 15ppg to 20 ppg, but his shooting percentages have gone down a bit, his usage is way up. He's shooting 48% on two-point shots and 36% on three-point shots. He's a very good FT shooter

This game is a sellout and their students are back, so I'm expecting a super human effort from WVU today. I really really hope I'm wrong, but I'm expecting this game will be as tough (or tougher) than the Texas Tech game. .
Road game against a plucky opponent where it is historically hard to play after a big win against a blue blood. Gulp.
