They played a top-10 Kentucky.Kansas lost by 18 at home last year in this challenge and things seemed to work out fine for them
How well does Jones do any of those things?
Another Saturday, another embarrassing offensive performance on the road.

We can win a few in Hilton on pure emotion without him but if this team wants to compete for a Big 12 title(and right now we have the highest odds) then we absolutely need him back. This team better hope Grill comes back healthy, or this could be an epic collapse in the second half of conference play. This team plays lost without him. They played lost when he was out a few games ago and repeated that same play today.
I know I'm being silly here, but maybe we we go without a big and just see if we can gain an advantage there? Otherwise, there aren't many options. Rob is trying hard in most of the situations, he just needs to figure out how to pass out of the block. For some unknown reason, he draws 2 even 3 guys a lot OR he dribbles into and occupies 2 or 3 guys, which means someone is WIDE open. If he could learn to pass out of the that, he could be useful. Until he figures that out, his O game is a detriment to the team.
AND I love BRE still. Just want him to fix a big issue.
You think that Robert Jones' footwork is better than Ward's. Even if it is, the guy badly misses his attempts the majority of the time. Are you watching a different person than the rest of us? Look, the guy gives good energy and I like him as a person, but he should not be seeing this many minutes a game. While Ward isn't some generational talent, I'll take him playing more minutes if it means Jones goes less.
