We had trouble with BYU killing us from behind the arc last year when we played out west. I think we took extra effort to cover the three point line when we played them on senior night this year. That could have led to some of the discrepancy in the rebounding in that game. If we have the man power to cover their threes today, or they have a cold day shooting, I think the good guys will prevail.

These injuries suck. That said we can still beat these guys. Ride the crowd, all hands on deck, leave it all out there. If we can be physical and turn them over again, not get doubled up on rebounds and run them off the three-point line we will be right there.

The game at Hilton was a bizarre game. ISU wins by 7+; 15+ if Lipsey plays
it really was - it was BYU's best rebounding game of the year and our worst. Jackson & Jefferson both played much better yesterday - if they play like that again today, Keita will be handled and we will win.

My prediction is that Lipsey AND Gilbert don't play. And we win.

Really hoping for a Friday game next week, rather than Thursday, to give more time for healing/resting up. Has anyone looked at the possibilities of that occurring, pending the site we get sent to?

Way up there
The thing that really impressed me about BYU was how good they were situationally. They killed us out of timeouts, I think they ran a play for Saunders every single time and got good looks. They also subbed like an NBA team, lots of offense/defense types of things. It would be nice to see us match some of that.

I know its kind of a dead horse but if we have someone who can't go bc of injury, giving Watson a shot at guarding Saunders in some of those situations might be worth a try. Our other guards/wings just aren't great matchups for him.
