2.5 inches in Ames, nothing the next county north, absolutely no excuse this game shouldn't be packed.
You know, thinking more about it, exactly two years ago today we had just lost at Hilton to 'effin Florida A&M (!!!) and we were all naturally and rightly a mixture of infuriated and despondent about the present and future state of the program. And not to keep on piling on Steve Prohm, but that loss was the beginning of the end.

Its 0 degrees with dangerously cold wind chills. People need to make sure the young and old are safe. So there is a reason.
Almost a year ago not only was the program under performing covid hit the program so bad we had to pause the season and at that same time covid hit me hard enough to have me hospitalized. Which still feels like yesterday to me.
Fortunate that the program is back on track and the team is relatively healthy and I'm still here to do a gameday thread of this magnitude.
Baylor is at full strength. BU cant use that as a excuse to deny Hilton Magic.

Last night there was a jack knifed semi 10 minutes north of Ames with a potential hazmat spill.
No students, brutal temps today. I'm sure ISU fans will fill it up as best as possible.
You want to keep grandpa and the newborn home..........probably a good policy. Outside of that.......drive and dress like you have more sense than a bedpost, and things will be fine. It isn't like 0 with wind chills is something new and historic in central Iowa this time of year. You've never ran up to Hilton from the south GA parking lot when it's so cold that by the time you get up the stairs your tears and snot are frozen on your face?

Biggest game we've had since the B12 championship in 2019. I'm excited that we're relevant and that Hilton has a chance to shine once again.
Sidenote...just checked the guide. Who's the 11am game? Beard vs Huggie. Probably about 114 fouls and 2.5 hours. Welp. Guess we'll catch the 2nd half.
