From the look of this game, Allen's hip pointer has caused his decision making ability to mirror that of a 3rd grader. Seriously though he does not seem up to par physically and I think he would be best coming off the bench at this point (injury).don't get why FH plays SC at point guard...he's arguably our best player and making him do something that isn't in his comfort zone is very shocking...
Why not have Allen play point? SC is better than Allen so why have SC sacrifice his shooting when Allen chucks up 40 footers?
PG- Anyone that will play hard and smart not named Scott
SG- SC
SF- Babb
Pf- White
PF- Booker
I was at that game at Knapp in 2000. Even though we lost, I still thought that team played tough. This team is SOFT. You can not play SC at the point, Big 12 guards will eat him alive.[/QUOTE
Every time I flipped back to the game I saw Scotty getting beat at the top of the defense. How many times does he need to get beat to get Fred to move him out of the top of the zone/switching-man-to-man?? I find it hard to believe Scotty is our best option at the point.
simple make a freaking free throw.
a head coach with a pretty face and no experience, a top assistant who's a glorified aau coach, an nba intern, and a guy who's best experience is a couple years at Dayton. What do we really expect?
scotty should be a shooting guard not a point guard. he is a player that comes off screens to get distance to make his shots. you are taking his skill out of the equation by him playing point guard.
Sledge was a pg in hs and from ny. He couldnt do much worse. PUT HIM IN!
As he should. He needs to get this team motivated to play. I wish he had more Eustachy or Floyd in him.Post-game show:
Freddy said team was flat. He could see it the last couple days...team wasn't prepared/ready to go...Taking responsibility himself
