I think he'd have to sit, but that's some real PG depth between him and NN if Monte chooses to declare after the season.
With the new rules (no waivers), I think he'd absolutely have to sit out a year.
High probability that we're restricted I think, but who knows.
He would be an attractive target, but I don't like more than NN.

This seems like a very odd transfer to me.
He'll have to sit out a year and will then be a RS Junior. Draft Express already has him as a second round pick next year.
Why waste a year sitting out when you could potentially go to the NBA next year?
I'm all for it if he lands at ISU because I do think he's a huge talent. Just feels like sitting out a year is a huge waste.
