Me personally do not want a re-name of the ball park. But if it happens what would be a great name for this historic park?

Yeah, changing the name of Wrigley Field would be a freaking FANTASTIC idea.

Hey, why not name it Famous Dave's Field? Maybe Applebee's Stadium would be a good one.

Gotta keep it wrigley though. Does the tribune own Wrigley or something? I mean they are seperate companies.

It's named after William Wrigley (the gum guy if you didn't know...). Just make the company pay for it now. Then we don't even worry about a name change.

Well... I understand that ownership is pending, but I guess I didn't realize that there would be a person stupid enough on this Earth to do something like that.

Seriously, I think a stadium that historic will never be renamed. If so, I'm sure that person probably wouldn't be on this Earth much longer.

I think I read something the other day that mentioned that they won't change the name of wrigley. Nor will they get around to selling the team before opening day. Also, Big Z gave up opening day start to Ted Lilly

He gave it up, but Captain Lou said that Z is still starting opening day...

I've heard they won't rename it per say, but add a sponser in front of Wrigley.

The best that I've heard is Old Style Wrigley Field - for obvious reasons
