I see we're discussing academic standards in this thread.

What I can see is that one school has the kid penned in for their 2018 starting lineup, the other is waiting for him to get his academics in order.

Playing Kansas on NO network?

I hate to keep discussing In-State Rivals crap, but seriously-- when was the last time we had a conference game against anyone that wasn't on the FOX or ESPN networks?

I'm still wondering why Khawk is here...I mean, congrats, you had a great season...now go enjoy your success with the other back patters...

It amazes me that they call us little brother, yet are everywhere on the Iowa State comments talking trash...that is very little brotherish...

Its a rivalry. You had people in your fanbase saying ridiculous things, and was calling them out. It happens on hawk boards all the time too. Hawk fans say dumb things, and clone fans call them out too. Its all fun an games, man

Can you name a specific person this has actually been the case with? I kind of doubt you can without making up or passing along rumors.

So you are asking me to prove they take partial qualifiers when they have no rules against it? And academic records are confidential? See below. Next.

I listed a player I know was not a full qualifier earlier. I am not going to say his name. This isn't about running down the players. This about lying about entrance requirements.

Fact: the big ten has no partial qualifier rule and they are on record saying they like giving those kids a chance. Again, not hard to search and find.

So I come into this thread and land at this post. WTF is up with CF lately? Can't the mods direct the hawktards to ISR and ban those that refuse to stay there?

2011 against Kansas was on Fox College Sports.
2010 was not on any Fox looks like.

And this is why Hawk fans are complete tools.

Fact : if he is a full qualifier later, he qualifies for both schools

Fact: If he is a partial qualifier, Iowa can still take him no matter what.

BTW the player Iowa had playing dend wasn't offered by ISU. I wonder why.

Sorry.. I could have sworn Vance did receive an ISU offer, did not receive an Iowa offer, and academics were the main reason. I hope his academics get in order so that he can receive his ISU offer due to your rigorous academic standards.

1. So you have verification of this?

2. Yeah, ISU is the first school to ever offer a kid who hasn't qualified yet.

3. I am guessing every hs kid Iowa signed has not fully qualified yet. I will let you figure out why that's the case. Genius at work here.

Boy, I agree with you. I use the second-best method, I put all the hawk people on my ignore list. It's nice not seeing their remarks pop up.

Different day, same CyTwins..

Different day, same Jeffrey..

I have no idea what you are talking about. Honestly I have seen nothing backing up what you said so I'm guessing you don't have a link and made it up.

Well so far you've come up with no names except for a couple Rutgers basketball guys which indicates it's a huge advantage. You're giving excuses for recruiting which may be relevant for one kid a year at best in an effort to be the littlest little brother you can be. It's ridiculous and it's something that does not matter. If it did, the Big Ten wouldn't have been awful for 8 years.

Since I know the coach...I am going to go with him over you. He may have improved it a little but no way he was a full qualifier.

Partial qualifiers are not (were not) eligible to play as freshman. They lost a full year of eligibility. If the DEnd you are referring to is who I think you are referring to, he played as a true freshman. Undersized? Just finished his senior year as a starter? Currently 21 years old. Did not even red shirt.
