Probably the best overall finals round I can remember in awhile. Obviously I've enjoyed ones where we've had champs quite a bit, but you had what, 4 past champs lose tonight including two 2 timers?

I thought that takedown call was pretty quick there and the stoppage right after was bogus. Disappointed that Keck couldn't finish it out on top but what a career what a stand up guy. One of my all time favorites to watch besides DC.
Also lost in the shuffle, does that get Hendrickson the Hodge? I had it going to Messenbrink before that last match. His bonus rate was insane but 165 was cleared out. Hwt was loaded and Hendrickson took out 2 national champs plus was dominant all year. I would think he would get the nod now.

For all the hype they had coming in, that's a mildly disappointing tourney for UNI. but they're also not a tournament team.

Agree on those and I'll Marianetti over McIllravy. That one came out of nowhere plus in happened in IC. I was there and I've never felt the air completely sucked out of a sports arena like that.
