There was another poster that had an avatar of a black circle with white numbers, poster’s name may have “cyclones33”, or something similar. He seemed to have a lot of information on the Chizik departure and the meeting Chizik had with team/players before he left Iowa State.
As others have said, there was small group of posters in the late 2000’s/early 2010’s that were obviously well connected.
I sometimes wonder how many regular posters here have died. I went to a wake service for the uncle of one of my daughter's friends and the obit said he really enjoyed the community on CF. I didn't know him but I bet I did. There are several who were regular posters who just stopped cold turkey. Kinda sad.

That guy had to be some special ops in the military or something. Always wondered if something happened because he’d post quite a bit and the he vanished. He had some stories
I always enjoyed CyTwins as well who could get under hawkeye fans skins better than anyone. Sure he/she is still here some how but he’d be a fun one to talk to.
