Syracuse: I had the pleasure of being in Syracuse during the Big East Tourney game against UCONN 2 years back. The locals take s*it pretty serious up there. The bar stayed open after hours and people were still filing in to see the end. Jim B. is a respectable coach aswell.

Are you ******* kidding!?!? That's about as bad as saying your favorite football team other than ISU is kNU or the hawks.

I just dont like KU when we against Iowa State!Sorry but I disagree; KU and ISU have always had a good relationship with respect on both sides. And I go back to the 1960s on that score.

Nor do I; ISU is first with me, always, but KU has a great tradition. I can understand ISU ire with Roy who took several of Iowa's best players to Lawrence. But, hey, they went freely--no one put a gun to their heads.
Last years Kentucky team. They were so fast up and down the court. When they got a defensive rebound John Wall was halfway up the court waiting for the ball which they always got to him. Also very good inside with demarcus cousins and the 5 total underclassmen that got drafted. Big John Wall fan!
I grew up around Omaha and was a Creighton fan before I became an ISU fan, so the Jays are still my #2 team (but I don't care as much now that Altman is gone and McD is there). I usually cheer for both Drake and UNI as well to support the in-state teams. The only conference opponent in basketball that I can stand to cheer for is Oklahoma State. I'd love to go to a game at Gallagher-Iba someday.
As for other major conferences, I'm cheering for Oregon in the Pac10 now that Altman is there. I cheer for Vandy in the SEC, mostly because I love their strange court set-up. I don't really care about the Big 10, but I've started to like Illinois. I always love watching any Big East game, and Louisville is probably my favorite team from that conference.

My other favorite team is Duke.
I guess you can call me a bandwagon jumper, but I have like them since about the mid 80's when Danny Ferry was playing. I love the atmosphere inside Cameron, and think that Coach K has a great mind for leadership.

I always cheer for the Mo Valley teams as long as they don't play ISU. I'm the type who can't watch a game without rooting for someone, usually its the underdog. So teams like Gonzaga,UNI,Butler, or any non bcs schools that have made recent tourney runs usually get my support.
I love Coach K. Not a fan of Duke but how can you not like Coach K. So many championships and now a Gold Medal and Fiba World Championship. He'll be to 1000 in four years.
