Ke$ha and iggy azalea.
I'm a fan of hers too, and I don't think she qualifies as embarrassing. She is a great rapper, not many females can pull it off but she does.
Ke$ha and iggy azalea.
Vanilla Ice, Hall & Oates, John Denver, B52s, Alabama, David Allen Coe.
songs- "Like a Rhinestone Cowboy" or anything by the artists listed above
Hall & Oates? There's nothing wrong with them!
Roar by Katie Perry and Dog Days by Florence and the Machine.
Tubthumping by Chumbawamba. Partly because I really do like the song, partly because it takes me back to a different time...I remember going to my friend's 21st birthday party, and we were all standing on chairs singing/yelling this at the top of our lungs over and over again.
I present as evidence - Exhibit A:

Are us Hall & Oates fans supposed to be embarrassed by that song? It's a classic!
Are us Hall & Oates fans supposed to be embarrassed by that song? It's a classic!
Um, yes. Much like Chuck Berry fans have to mumble when someone mentions "My Ding-a-ling"
I don't hate H&O, but to say they have NOTHING to be embarrassed about is not accurate.
Can you honestly watch that Jingle Bell Rock video and not cringe? Did it really add anything to the genre of rock and roll music? Not only is the video uber-cheesie, it doesn't musically vary from the original in any significant manner - if you're going to do a cover, at least add some originality or put your own style/stamp on it so it has a reason for being. Not just a lame excuse to hope for a few dollars out of the record buying public.
Exhibit D for Hall & Oates:
