Lived in Philly while I was in junior high right as the Hooters were starting to get a local following. Always liked them, probably only for that reason.

I don't hate Nickelback which, relative to everyone else who despises them, makes me a fan I guess.

I'll take it a step further and say I like Nickelback....have, and would again, paid to see them play

There are a couple songs on their debut album that I liked. Then they completely sold out and made a bunch of crap that all sounded the same.

Miley Cyrus, Paramore, and some of Justin Bieber's hip hop collaborations

I'm not ashamed of this.

I don't actively listen to them anymore (thank God), but I listened to so much Nickelback in high school that I can't help but sing along if/when their older stuff (All the Wrong Reasons or older) comes on the radio.

I guess this explains why you are a Hawk fan….

And as for Paramore, I agree, I like them a lot. Their beats come off kind of kiddie teenage pop, but the lead singer girl can sing like a champ. Big fan of hers.

So do you people just not like Icona Pop, or is it not embarrassing? Because I, if you'll pardon the pun, love it.

What I've got from this thread.

The 80s was filled with good, but embarrassing music?

I'll add Bump n Grind by R. Kelly

Ignition by R. Kelly is the one I still enjoy.

Any PM Dawn.

I remember sitting next to my dual tape recorder/radio, waiting for "(Since I'd) Die Without You" to come on so I could record it.
