Teams should be rewarded for playing well down the stretch and winning games. I’m sure every team trying to get on the 3 line is looking at us and saying “why the **** are they still there?”

I assume it's all mostly done. Not the seeding, but the full seed line, 1-68. Where changes could come is if 2 teams are so close, 1 more game could affect it. If it's a 9-10 swap, no one notices. If it's a 12-13, everyone will lose their ****.

There will likely be a few surprises I think. Wild predictions:

St. John's will be a 3 or 4 seed.
Iowa State will be ahead of Texas Tech
Texas A&M the last 2 seed
Kentucky a 4 seed
Arizona a 3 seed
See my SEC post above..That is gotta factor in.
Kentucky played Bama 3 times, Tennessee twice. Florida once, Vandy twice, Auburn once

if Bama is a 2 seed Kentucky cannot be a 3 in that region. If you play a team 3 times cannot meet until regional final.

Its a spider web because it is plausible there are some 6 seeded SEC teams. If Kentucky or say A & M played them twice they cannot meet in the 2nd round. And if Kentucky is a 4 the same thing cannot meet a 5 seeded SEC team round 2

It will be fascinating.

Edit: if SEC has 2# 1's Florida and Auburn Kentucky can play them in sweet 16

And no offense to the OP but for God's sake I have no clue why anyone is using Lunardi and Palm to be the bellwethers. It's not hard to use Bracket Matrix to find who is truly good at this stuff.
Exactly. And this is after all the talk that conference tourneys don't really change your seeding. And everyone now is saying they will in our case including Palm & Lunardi.

Wisconsin is playing better basketball than we are right now. Facts.
Really? March records: ISU (3-2); Wisco (4-2) with a loss at home to mighty Penn St. That doesn't exactly scream "playing better than ISU right now". Nor does it justify them moving up a seed line.

We're also ranked higher than them via KenPom, Torvik and NET Ranking. I doubt beating MSU will push them past us in any of those rankings.

Waiting for Jamie Pollard to explain that we fell to the four seed because of our nonconference schedule in November!

Here’s a simple filter on Barttorvik to see who is playing the best in the month of March.

Except it wouldn't have - not if the committee had their 1s and 2s locked in by Friday night (assuming this works the same every year)
Why can’t every year be fluid? This year it definitely feels like there is definitely a top 6-8. Last year there wasn’t..

Feels like you are looking to be butt hurt.
