Right. So when they all update again we aren’t gonna be a 3 in as many. Wisconsin’s win will bump them up on a lot.
But we needed to drop 2 spots, not 1. Don't see Maryland or Purdue doing enough to jump us, and A&M is on a free fall.

Other than the win at Texas Tech, do we truly have any wins that stand out?

KU win doesn’t mean much and Marquette faltered down the stretch. I hate BYU more than any conference team but they should be a 3/4 and we should be a 5/6 seed.

That's not how it works.

Check the metrics.

BYU is projected as a 7ish seed.

Based on what?

Our win at Tech is better than them winning at Arizona. They also lost to Providence, TCU, Utah, and Cinncinatti. None of those are tournament teams. Iowa St also has more Q1 wins.

This. Since we didn’t get a 1 or 2 seed it’s just about matchups now. Don’t care about whether we get a 3 or 4.

It would be about matchups even with a 1 or 2.

Preferably not long guards that can hit threes.

I will say, all the tops bracketologists from
Bracket matrix have us a a 3. Take it for what it’s worth. I do think we are the last 3, meaning Denver is likely. Wisconsin and KY will get Milwaukee. Still take the 3 all day.
Agreed. I just want to see more of them update. If you’re gonna be taken seriously this time of year, you need to update more frequently or at least once the games are all done for the day.

Only 5 of them show 3/16 currently and many of the 3/15 haven’t been updated since yesterday morning.

Not exactly sure.

Okay, why wouldn’t KY go to Cleveland and we go to Milwaukee?

That seems to make better sense, but Michigan State and Alabama will get Cleveland. Auburn and Tennessee are getting "seeding dibs" above Bama for Lexington (and of course UK can't play in Lexington).
You also have Charlotte for the south teams. Honestly Denver isn’t terrible. For us, not fantastic but I will make it work.

We are at an advantage unless we play Colorado St that we have played in Boulder so we know what to expect. Also lets not be afraid of early games this year, this team wakes up at dawn it seems like.
