It's coming up on me and unfortunately I'm giving CF up. This will be a long, hard lent. I have to change my homepage too. Anyone else giving something tough up?

Goodbye all, and see you in 46 days. Only 3,974,400 seconds until Easter after tonight!
Remember any important things that happen while I'm gone and update me later.

I'm giving up listening to sports talk radio on the drive to work in the morning. It was tough today.

I've never understood how Catholics don't consider fish a meat. Vegetarians consider it a meat, it bleeds when it's cut, it is a vertebrate. I don't mean to be a jerk.... I just don't get it.

Probably because Jesus ate fish. He also ate lamb (see Passover), but apparently that doesn't count...

The best thing about Lent is all the great fish specials. Shrimp, scallops, oysters, walleye, lobster, crab, pollack, pickled herring in wine sauce. Bring it on.

It doesn't scream when you cut it even if it's alive. Not a meat.
