Yeah but insecurities and what not.
Just because I don't want to hear about her doesn't mean she shouldn't be talked about. Clearly she is bringing tons of attention to women's basketball. I'm not saying she will go down as the best player but she will be,by far, the most notable of this generation. I mean even the sports looks in Vegas are crediting here with the massive increase in betting traffic.
So KXNO is going State wide with about 4/5 stations creating a network to carry KXNO across the entire state.

Which means they'll lean even more hawkeye than they already do...
There is no way a show featuring heather burnside can carry a 4 hour show. They already were scraping the bottom of the barrel for listenable content.
KXNO changing show times and now apart of some Iowa Sports Radio Network? Miller and Condon on Noon-2 pm today.

I might be in the minority saying this but I actually enjoy that segment. I don't want it 3 days a week but the once a week is just fine. Sometimes there are some good topics that I find interesting and I find it interesting to hear Paul's side of some of the stories the news reports because at times what the Des Moines Register or local news outlets are reporting are either conflicting or written to take something out of context and he does a good job of calling out some of their inaccuracies when that happens. Also when someone calls in with some crazy story or question it leads to some interesting conversation when you get a police perspective on too.We need more "ask 5-0 anything". Thee times a week should be enough.
But yes Heather and Sean struggle to fill their time when things are slow and that is because they just don't have a very good guest lineup to fill time with like most good shows do. And it's sad that for as long as Heather has been doing radio in this market that she doesn't have more contacts to pull from to get as guests. While I don't regularly listen to Miller and Condon unless I happen to be in the car when they are on, they do things right by having a good set of regular guests to fill a bulk of their time without having to use callers and random current event topics to try and fill the void like the morning and afternoon shows do. I could do without Trent as I find him obnoxious and annoying at times and I've not always been fond of Miller in the past because of his association with Marty Tirrell for so many years but lately I have grown to appreciate how he runs that show.

Yep they are going:
Miller & Condon from Noon to 2 and then:
Roberts & Burnside from 2 to 6.
Guessing they didn't want to pay for Murph & Andy replacements.
Trent was gone last week and he does most of the technical stuff so guessing that's why there wasn't a podcast last week.
