Yeah, I remember that. I had a pretty good laugh about it. Oubre seemed scared as soon as Nash shoved him.

Someone else from Kansas looked equally bad in that too. Was it Traylor or Cliff (I think he was playing at that point in the season right?)

Plus Nash was always a cocky little baby too, cant blame him for returning the favor a little bit.
Oubre isn't remotely close to his potential....that's why I love the one and done rule. Bring in the next 5 star n00b @ KU, not worried.
Oh, Oubre did it on purpose, no doubt. Just like 1,000 guys a day purposely bump shoulders into guys. Niang and Hogue do it 20 times a game. I have no problem with it at all. Hats off to the frosh for not backing down to Nash.
But like I said before didn't Traylor or Cliff then get all defensive and maybe even a technical? If Oubre did it on purpose what's with the KU bench throwing a hissy fit?
I would hope that if an opposing big shoved one of the ISU guards that the ISU bigs would step in and get in their face. It's called being a teammate. No harm done. Offsetting technical fouls and play moved along. If this is the worst example people have to discredit the claim that he seems like a good kid then Oubre is doing life right.
810 radio had a national sports guy on a few weeks ago and stated Oubre not ready for NBA. He kept saying he can't play D, can't drive, and doesn't have a great shot. Also said there is something wrong with the NBA if he is drafted in the first round. Didn't sugar coat it too much.
Barely any of the players in the NBA draft are ready for the NBA right away. Kobe Bryant couldn't even beat out Nick Van Exel his rookie season and he still managed to develop into a pretty good player. Oubre will be just fine in a few years. And if you're talking about 810 radio out of Kansas City then you should disregard anything those clowns say about Kansas players. They are the biggest group of K-State/Mizzou dopes on the planet. They have make a conscious decision to play specifically to the anti-KU crowd in Kansas City.

This is pretty lame doppy talk given you hired a K-State guy to fix your football program, and he did. Then you hired another K-State grad to fix your athletic department, and I suppose he's trying. Next, you'll probably hire Shalee Lehning to fix your WBB team. Clowns indeed.
Wait, I thought I was on CYCLONE Fanatic, not EMAW? To get back on topic, I think Oubre's improvement was pretty significant over the course of the season. If KU replaces him with a Wiggins-level player, that will improve their already highly-talented team. Still, Ellis is the guy that has done the most damage to us over the past couple of years - and he is the one I fear the most on the Jayhawk squad.
