The nice thing is they will have more uniform combinations than wins next season.
This is a solid first post.
Edit: And the wait from March 2012 to chime in!!

Hate to break it to you guys... if we had white helmets, we'd still have the worst uniforms in the conference. We need new (ORIGINAL) uniforms. Not just a lame copy of USC or the Kansas City Chiefs.
Also, I can't wait to see how badly Adidas botches the 5 uniforms that go with those helmets. Hope they go with a giant K on the front of them like Wisconsin & Nebraskas ugly *** jerseys last year.
Because that is such an easy thing to identify and pinpoint...
Oregon built an entire program out if it.
I just think a jayhawk on a football helmet looks stupid no matter what color.
Couldn't disagree more. Recruits. Love. Alternates.
And nobody could use more help in recruiting than ISU. In a landscape where almost every permanent factor goes against ISU, you have to adapt in the parts of recruiting that you can control.
Because those schools don't have to. They wear boring uniforms from the 60s and they are praised for being classic because they are the best schools in the nation. They have almost every advantage you could get in recruiting. They don't need any more, and they are still doing it at a decent clip.
If there is no evidence of it helping recruiting, why should ISU sink $$$ into alternates? Given where ISU's AD budget is, don't you think the money would be better spent on keeping coach's salaries competitive with those of our conference mates?
Again, is there any solid evidence that Oregon won recruits because of their uniforms?
There are plenty of other schools who don't change their uniforms constantly and still do pretty well. Alternates are nice, but ISU doesn't need to completely overhaul their wardrobe for the third time in a decade.
Again, is there any solid evidence that Oregon won recruits because of their uniforms?
"I've always said if Oregon would have offered me (a scholarship), it would have been a tough thing to turn them down just for the uniforms," ASU defensive back Omar Bolden says. "And I hate cold weather." He proves the point that while some find Oregon's style excessive and borderline hideous, the players love the duds.
Bolden predicts 80 percent of the Ducks play there because they were drawn by the uniforms. "I think there is a proven correlation in interest in recruiting and visual images kids see on TV that they think is cool," Bellotti says. "Our kids said we only get to play one game a week and it is nice to have options on how we dress. Interchangeable jerseys, different colors, adding black, strong colors, that all resonates with youth."
"Nike is the elite in sports apparel and having the ability to work with them and give feedback, while also helping with uniform design is a big deal to a teenage kid,†Colvin said. “Michigan and USC both had a lot to offer and had more tradition, but Oregon was the up-and-comer with something no one else had. I knew I couldn't go wrong with choosing to commit to Oregon.â€
Yep, and he was an Iowa guy to boot.I think it was a couple years ago a guy came out and said one of the main reasons he went to oregon was because of uniforms.
