Makes no sense talking about the KU game at Hilton. ISU did make the clutch plays when it mattered, Niang was standing there and got plowed and KU choked on the final shot that was an easy chip shot after the gift no call. No team can overcome two horrific calls in the last five seconds of a close game and win. OT doesn't matter, ISU outplayed them in regulation and the game was stolen by two obvious errors. It's not "tough guy" to deny when a screw job happens, it's some sort of coping denial.
Refs are going to miss calls or call them wrong sometimes. The key is to be able to play through that. ISU couldn't get a stop when it mattered and they flat out stunk it up in OT. So regardless of the bad calls ISU could have won it but didn't make the plays they needed to which was a common theme in the close games. Even with the bad call against OSU they had chances to win that game and didnt make a play.
