To bad some of you around here think he stinks and don't want him to be a clone. I guess Indiana, Arizona State, and Notre Dame don't know as much as you guys do.

Come on... Everyone thinks they are a recruiting expert on this site. When the person busts they want to be the first to say I told you so, and if the person succeeds then they keep their mouth shut and change their tune.

Right now I'll take anyone that wants to be a Cyclone. Heck I was happy when Dorr decided to become a Cyclone since I saw him play every game his Sr at Norwalk. I hope this train gets back on track sometime soon.

Also..... Just wondering... What is the work about Nick Nurse?? Is he coming on as an assistant or what the heck?? I thought I saw someone say on a thread the other day that he was, but I can't see that.

Suppose to "interview" after the D-League season, which I believe is over for the Energy. I believe CW and the board "insiders" have said it's nearly a "done deal". Other than what's been posted on here I don't know anything else.

Heard today from a very reliable source, McCaffery was in Jarrod's house offering Sunday and he had a great plan and the family loved him. He also mentioned that Butler was going to be there today offering and Indiana was coming in later this week to offer.

From the same source the Nurse deal is done, he had just talked to Nurse that day. He said Nurse is excited to Coach at a major college.

Darn it. I thought Nick would be a nice addition at ISU...

On a serious note, I'm not sure I really like what Iowa might have found in Mcafery. Everytime I've heard him interviewed, I have to say I've been impressed. On top of that, he seems to work his tail off. If he actually puts forth effort recruiting wise and is impressive (with a plan no less) in front of recruits, Iowa may actually move out of a laughing-stock to merely a cellar dweller with chances to move up.

Actually they play the 3rd game of the semifinals tomorrow night and the winner of that game goes to the D-League finals.
